Tingaki has a great beach with flat, golden sands and a fairly calm sea

However, whilst the beach and sun have their attractions, it is always best to take a few precautions to make sure that you enjoy a safe holiday.

Sun cream / lotion:  always use it, put it on before leaving your accommodation and make sure that you re-apply frequently throughout the day, particularly after swimming / showering.

Always ensure that you are using a high enough protection factor, if in doubt select one higher , you will still get a tan, but reduce the risk of burning.

Try & avoid the sun when it is at it's hottest  (11am - 3pm).  Why not have a leisurely lunch at a local taverna or cafe instead.

Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.  Cafes & shops sell bottled water very cheaply indeed.
